She works from a studio inside her home, and a lot of what makes it into her art starts with the small things she notices on everyday walks: a monstera plant spilling out of someone's garage, the orange trees that flower across the city each spring, the way people and nature keep finding each other in small urban spaces.
Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form. The Conway Throw is jacquard woven in the USA from cotton with at least 25% recycled cotton: lightweight, textured, and built to last. Use it as a couch blanket, a bed blanket, a wall art tapestry, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.
